female practitioners at Cricklade, all with slightly different approaches.
We aim to match each patient with the practitioner who is most likely
to help them.
All practitioners
are well qualified in their relevant field and are registered by their
professional bodies.
Jolyon Livingston D.O., MSCC
became principal in 1982. Married with twins, he
graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1977. He has been
an external examiner at six osteopathic colleges since 1997 and was
on the University of Wales degree validation team for several years.
He is a member of the Sutherland Cranial College, having successfully
completed post-graduate training in cranial osteopathy.
He enjoys treating a wide-variety of age groups and conditions including
the aches and pains associated with pregnancy and poor posture,
(often computer and driving related) and horse riding injuries.
Kelly Haines
BSc. (hons) Ost. graduated from the London School of Osteopathy.
Working previously as a professional orchestral musician, Kelly has
a keen interest in working with musicians, artists and performers of
all ages as well as treating more general musculo-skeletal problems.
She uses a combination of structural and cranial osteopathy and is also
trained in the use of western medical acupuncture. Kelly is an approved
practitioner for the Britiish Association of Performing Arts Medicine.
David Davies
BSc. (hons) Ost. Med. D.O., D.N. graduated from the British College
of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. He has extensive experience of treating
sports injuries and uses acupuncture for pain relief.
Sue Haynes is
the practice acupuncturist. She trained at The College of Traditional
Acupuncture near Warwick and has specific interest in the use of acupuncture
in the treatment of musculo-skeletal pain and women's health issues. She uses
a variety of techniques associated with traditional acupuncture such
as acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, Gua Sha and derma roller depending
on your symptoms.
Amanda Lewis
L.S.S.M. M.G.C.P. is the massage therapist. She trained at
the London School of Sports Massage and is used to treating the wide
range of problems amenable to massage including those suffered by top
class athletes.
Jill Peacey L.B.S.H.
R.S. Hom is the practice homoeopath who graduated from the British
School of Homoeopathy in Bristol in 1997. Married with four children
and two grandchildren, Jill has always been interested in the healing
properties of natural substances.
The receptionists
are Karen Hankins, who has worked at the practice since 1986
and Chris Harman, who started working here in 2009.
