Massage is the oldest
form of physical therapy and in our stressful lives it can play a vital
role in reducing physical and emotional tension and their symptoms.
It can also play
an important part in both correcting and preventing soft tissue injuries
such as pulled muscles and ligaments. Minor injury is by far the most
common musculoskeletal problem and can be extremely painful, affecting
a person's occupation, sport and quality of life. Furthermore, if not
treated properly at an early stage it can sometimes lead to more serious
conditions.
Massage works on
many levels and it is the unique way in which it combines the above
benefits to suit the individual which makes it such a versatile and
effective treatment. In a complementary role with other therapies, massage
can greatly speed recovery.
A first consultation
